Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 21, 2026 · Operator: Speakeasy Coding · Contact: [email protected]
This Privacy Policy explains what information Speakeasy Coding ("Speakeasy," "we," "us") collects when you use speakeasycoding.com and our tools — including AMI (the AI co-host), CLIP'D, and related overlays and services (the "Service") — and how we use and protect it.
1Information we collect
- Account information — your email, username, and password (passwords are handled by our authentication provider; we never see them in plain text).
- Streaming-platform connections — when you connect Twitch, Kick, Blaze, Velora, or YouTube, we store the access and refresh tokens those platforms issue, so AMI can read your chat and post as your bot. Tokens are held to operate the features you enable and are not sold.
- Chat & audience data — messages and usernames from the channels you connect, so AMI can respond, greet chatters, run commands, moderate, and help score clips. We keep lightweight per-viewer "audience memory" to make interactions feel continuous.
- Content you create — clips, captions, uploads, and settings you make in CLIP'D and other tools.
- Usage & device data — basic analytics and logs (e.g., pages, errors, approximate region) used for reliability and abuse prevention.
- Cookies & on-device storage — we and the providers we rely on place, access, and recognize cookies, browser local storage and session storage, and similar technologies on your device to keep you signed in, remember your settings, operate the Service, and protect against abuse. You can control or clear these through your browser; some features may not work without them.
- Payment information — if/when you subscribe, billing is handled by a third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
2How we use it
To provide and operate the Service — run AMI, generate and score clips, deliver alerts and overlays, moderate on your behalf, secure accounts, provide support, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.
3Third-party services we rely on
- Supabase — authentication and database.
- Cloudflare — hosting, storage (D1 / R2), and analytics.
- AI providers (Groq, Google Gemini, Cloudflare Workers AI) — chat text may be sent to generate AMI's replies. We send only what's needed to produce a response.
- Streaming platform APIs — Twitch, Kick, Blaze, Velora, and YouTube, to read and post chat you've authorized.
4Google & YouTube data
Speakeasy Coding uses YouTube API Services. Speakeasy's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We only use YouTube data to provide the in-app features you turn on (reading and replying in your live chat, alerts, and overlays) — never for advertising, and never sold or transferred except as needed to run those features. We do not retrieve or store YouTube statistics (such as subscriber, view, or watch-time counts); YouTube data is used in real time to power the features you enable and is refreshed from the API or deleted within 30 days. Your use of YouTube features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke Speakeasy's access to your Google account at any time via Google's security settings.
5Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, unless a longer period is required by law. You can ask us to delete your data (see §7).
6Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information (encryption in transit, access controls). No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data and will notify you of a breach where required.
7Your choices & rights
- Access, correct, or delete your account data — contact [email protected].
- Disconnect any streaming platform in your Settings at any time.
- Revoke Google/YouTube access via Google's security settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (e.g., GDPR/CCPA) — we honor applicable requests.
8Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
9Changes
We may update this policy; we'll post the new date above and, for material changes, provide notice. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
